Race time! Up the chair one last time. A bad crash on the Pro CAT1 course had things closed for over thirty minutes. No fun standing at the top waiting to drop, but hope the guy was OK down below. Back to racing. In the start, beep, beep, beep, another beep, one last beep, GO!!! 5 plus minutes of terror and huffing as the course had really started to dry and break up. I was on a good run, and totally jazzed to be at the bottom clean. Not a burner, but felt great! Good enough for 3rd after all was said and done, and shaved off 5 seconds from two weeks prior.

Time for the waiting game as Zach and the guys were due to drop. Finally around the corner comes Zach ripping out the last of the hill at top speed. Love it! Had a total blast watching when possible the rest of the team. Plenty of solid performances for the DC crew and friends of the Core.

Kye, Nik, Zach, Tim and Jim 3rd (note that Nik had a stellar run and landed about 7th or 8th in the money against the pros!!) Cam 6th in a tough field of fast guys and looked fabulous in the tank top Anthony 5th (RIPPER!) Kyle 6th or 7th? Adam 9th with a tough crash at the end of his run costing him a collar bone. Healing vibes dude! You are one tough guy! Finished the race even after that crash!! Bobby - finished his first NW CUP race!! Great cut off short too. :)

OK, who'd I miss...

Matt suffered some mechanicals in his qualifications and his race run. Jesse suffered a nasty crash (take care of those ribs, bro), and Dustin shaved off a huge amount of time in his run. Great job by the JDC with Eric getting more CAT2 trail time. Emmet had a great time as well.
